Make it in the Emirates Startup Pitch Competition
It aims to boost innovation in various sectors of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The competition will be organized by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MOIAT) of the United Arab Emirates , with the deadline for applications until April 1st and scheduled to take place next May.
The event will include the following sectors:
a) Manufacturing & Industry 4.0;
b) Health and Biotechnology;
c) Sustainability and Environmental Technology;
d) Cybersecurity;
e) Space Technology.
According to MOIAT, startups with the following characteristics will be selected for the competition:
(i) Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 3-9, proven foundation and ability to scale;
(ii) Innovative solutions, with the potential to effectively solve critical challenges;
(iii) Scalable business model, with capacity for growth and adaptation to market demands;
(iv) Sustainable practices that contribute to environmental, social or economic well-being;
(v) Market potential and relevance within target markets;
(vi) Competitive advantage, with clear differentials that drive profitability and establish a prominent position in the market; and
(vii) National impact, contributing positively to the priorities of the United Arab Emirates.
